What a good blog looks like

Hey! :)

Today I forced myself to think about what a good blog looks like, as my blog is used for university and therefor shouldn't be just "something".

I've looked at some blogs of other students of which our teachers thought they were good and I've come to the conclusion, that a good blog should contain many pictures as it is more fun reading it if it looks nice and there's not only text for pages and pages.

I also think the right length of a post is important. Of course you should not write 2 sentences and then stop. But I for one think that if one post is too long and your just carry on talking about the same topic for hours it gets really boring.

The topics of the blogs I looked at were really different. But I liked the ones about travelling the most - so I'm going to write about travelling in my own blog too soon!

Till then, I wish you a nice week!

The Hobbit

Hey :)

Recently I've been to the cinema to see "The Hobbit:The battle of the five Armies". I've waited for this movie for such a long time to finally come out. Last year I've read the book because I couldn't wait for one more year to finally know the ending. I was so excited about that movie and I really had high hopes because the book was so amazing. Then I went to the cinema. It was the biggest disappointment ever! For everyone who hasn't seen the film yet and still want to: You should definitely stop reading here.

The whole movie was just ridiculous. In the book there was just left the dragon dying and the huge battle. Noooo, of course it wasn't in the movie. They needed a love story. Between a dwarf and an elf. And of course also the dead scenes, which were supposed to be sad, were so ridiculous, many people just had to laugh in the cinema. When I read the scene in which Thorin Oakenshield dies, I cried. In the movie I just had to laugh out loud. My sister asked me if the guy who wrote the script even read the book :D But I have to admit, there was ONE scene that was exactly like it was in the book! Can you imagine? Okay, it was just two sentences, but anyway.

So, if you ask me, it was one of the worst movies I have ever seen and I would definitely NOT recommend it to anyone. Except if you want to experience a huge disappointment of course!

About Lena

Hi everybody!

Today I want to tell you a bit about myself. To be more precise, about my favourite hobby: Ballet!
I've been doing it since I was five years old, so for 14 years now. I don't know why I even started. Not  even my parents can tell me. They keep saying they don't have a clue how I got the idea of starting :D

But that doesn't really matter. Anyway it has always been great fun to me! The thing I like most is rehearsing dances for our performances. Usually we have them every second year but unfortunately we we'll skip one year because this year we have so many beginners and they first have to learn ballet steps in general before we can practice dances :(

So far we have performed two whole ballets: "Cinderella" and "The Fairy Doll". At our other performances we did just random dances from various ballets.

My favourite performance was "Cinderella" three years ago. I played one of the stepsisters, which was great fun :D I always had to fight with the girl who played the other stepsister, but when Cinderella came in, the two of us suddenly were together against her :P

Me in "Cinderella"

At the beginning of this year we also started training acrobatics, but we aren't very good at it yet :D
But still I like it a lot and hope I'll be able to do a flip-flac one day!

If you want to know anything else, just ask me! Thanks for stopping by! :)
